Up to my ass in work. I have no idea how a boy who just wants to listen to punk rock and draw comics is writing a (currently) 14 page marketing treatise for an E-commerce website for a two-day meeting this weekend. Well, I do know, it's just funny sometimes to think where your life is and where you thought it would be. Some days it blows my mind that I told art school to go get fucked and I ended up working so hard to "make it" that now I could probably hold my own with college graduates in like 6 or 7 fucking (non-art) majors.
I think it would scare the shit out of me if I ever just sat down and counted how many books I've read since January 2003 when I decided to "get serious" about all of this stuff. It would be a staggering number, I know it.
Bugger that, I'm going to a punk show tomorrow night (before the weekend-o-meetings), a bunch of bands I've never heard of at a bar in Brighton, I'm really looking forward to it, I hope there will be dancing and fun to be had, I could really use it.
I want to wrestle someone. Any takers? No pins, submission only... winner gets, uh, I don't know some nacho's or something.

Yeah! I actually studied feudal Japan for a summer and read a lot of stuff. I've watched a lot of Samurai flicks...Kurosawa was a great director....one of my favs

Seven Samurai for sure...Roshomon is also great. Those are probably the two "essential" ones. They are expensive though but Criterion has made them look great!
