I've been thinking about moving to New York. I currently live in Brighton in the UK. I don't know much about New York, and obviously I won't be going anywhere untill all this pandemic stuff is over. I've never been to New York, so obviously it would be a massive risk, but I'm so fed up with what I'm doing at the moment, and all my family and friends have moved on, so I feel like taking a leap over the pond!
Other than how much apartments costs, what do I need to know? My dad has spent a lot of time in New York, but he's never actually lived there. He has spent a lot of time living in South Carolina, but that's a bit different.
So I'm just looking for tips from people. Fyi I'm an electronics engineer, and computer programmer, and I'll also be turning 30 next year 😬
