oy, I am tired as hell but that was to be expected after staying out all night for a week straight. I head back to VA tomorrow evening and in a weird way I'm ready to go back.. although at the same time I know I wish I could stay forever. Colorado is my home no doubt in my mind and it always will be my home. The first thing you see is the amazing backdrop of the mountains and the Denver skyline (one of the best big cities in the country btw) and unlike VA you can see for miles and miles. Something about seeing destinations almost an hour drive away is liberating, it makes your world seem so much larger and it's always given me the feeling that its mine to take. When I am here I take on a totally different attitude, here I know everything and everyone and I can do anything here. After seeing the scenery and you get into the little hole's in the wall in and around here you see that its a unique atmosphere all it's own. No douchebags that want to fight as soon as you bump into them at the bar, everyone wants to be your friend no matter who you are and people are laid back and dont rush through life here. The most amazing thing about being up here at a Mile High that I never realized till I left and came back, the thin air has such a calming quality too it the sounds of cars on the road dont carry and the air so thin and light is soo relaxing, its easy to just drift off into your own world here.
Anyway enough about that lol, I'll be back here when I'm ready to settle down for the remainder of my years no matter how few or many that may be. Hopefully once I get back to VA things will pick up and start getting better, I was going crazy doing nothing but sitting in my dorm room at night to the point I'd stay late at work just to avoid going back and depressing myself. I'm going to finish building the system for the car and am going to get back into photography again and find some nice areas for photos around the bay. Last but not least I'm gonna go out and meet some people make some damned friends lol. To everyone in Denver, especially my family and all the great friends I've made here, love you guys and I'll be back before you know it.
