yeah, the ring wasn't the greatest, but living in a wooded area similar to the spot with the well at the end of the movie made it better for me. coming home, overcast and slight drizzle...yeah, kind of creepy. but the movie as a whole wasn't that scary. i'm sure ring2 will suck, but i saw an extended preview on mtv the other day that looked ok.

nope, haven't seen dolls, but i'll look for it today.
and don't blame me if any movie i recommend sucks.

I know how you feel about a lot of the "friend" crap. Everyone in high school knew me, but nobody really KNEW me. You're a free spirit, Norm. You're awesome because you CAN'T be pinned down, you can't be stuck into a neat little category. The thing is, up here in bumfuck middle of nowhere, people don't know what to do with someone like you, who doesn't fit their expectations, or their little categories for lack of a better term (ugh sorry for the terrible prose, brain is broken). There's a huge wonderful world outside northern NY where people aren't morons, where you can keep great friends of all sorts, and where the cows don't outnumber the people. I've said this before and I'll say it again, first chance you get to get out of Watertown, take it, and try not to look back.

As for the girl problems... I agree with keith. Or maybe she has issues of her own that she doesnt' even know about. I agree, talking seriously = good idea

yeah, i know, mine was 4 years long and we moved to chicago together. she was suppose to be the last person i was with. well, that didn't happen. talk to her some more, tell her that you might not want to be in that relationship (not so much as an "or else" type of thing) if things can't resolved. and maybe a compromise. who knows. but if she's not happy and you're not happy and it's not getting fixed.

and i still think you're more sxe than the rest of us. i live in a huge drinking town, most of the people i hangout with aren't into punk/hardcore/sxe music at all and most if not all drink. i did the punkrock/hardcore clique thing for a long time. i'm happy to only have a few of those friends left and most live 1700 miles away. so, it's nice to be around them when i want and the other people the rest of the time.

ok, so i started playing mgs again, and i really like it. not sure why, but it's way better than the others, maybe because the story. not sure. i just have to remember not to go on a killing spree-kind of defeats the purpose of the game.

I don't think that there is anything else to the title. I believe it's just Mercenaries. Check it out, it really is a fun game. I never liked the MGS controls. Well, they're just a little weird for me. I'm not sure why. It's like the TombRaider series, everything felt awkward, which is why I never played it too often. But there was something about MGS3 I really liked, so I'll have to give it another try.

Really was nothing to worry about. I get wonky and really depressed every now and then, and I haven't been remembering to take my Zoloft lately, which really throws me for a loop sometimes. I think it's that the meds make me kind of numb (but it's a good trade off, because at least I get to function instead of being an over-emotional space cadet), so when I'm off them for a while a lot of things that never got worked through (read: cried about) push themselves up to the surface and kind of get skimmed off, in a way. But I am okay. Life is good and life goes on. Have to remind myself of that every so often. It's not all that bad, and I have the power to change what I don't like *affirmative positive thinking and crap*
