Police smash Milosevic ally's home
BELGRADE, Serbia --Police have started to demolish a building in Belgrade owned by one of the prime suspects in the assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic.
Armed officers on Friday sealed off a big compound belonging to alleged crime boss Dusan Spasojevic, who the government says has links to former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic, as excavators started to destroy buildings....

i find myself captivated by the prefixes that are used by the media when describing people. "alleged crime boss dusan spasojevic" sounds pretty hard core. obviously someone in the legal department at cnn felt that there was a compelling interest in saying that mr. spasojevic is an alleged crime boss. obviously nobody at cnn wants to get sued for libel by someone who doesn't want to be known the world over as a crime boss. what alleged crime boss wouldn't have an army of hairy knuckle draggers on hand to kick the crap out of any snotty journalist that didn't get their facts straight. but if it were me, i'd be sending over a pack of barristers to get that "alleged" bullshit removed. i'm a motherfucking crime boss and those fucks at cnn best recognize!
another prefix that caught my attention was the recent capture and subsequent detention (and i'm guessing electro-genital-shock treatments) of the "mastermind of the september 11th attacks." "mastermind" is kind of a split decision for me, i mean its obviously higher up on the antagonistic totem pole than "crime boss" but its got that fresh from the pages of marvel comics aura. didn't the comic book villian mastermind like have to walk through doors sideways because of that massive dome?
there are two prefixes that kind of set the standard for me. the first is "the taliban supreme leader mullah muhammad omar" and the motherfuckin OG of badass prefixes "panamanian strongman manuel noriega." how does one go about becoming a supreme leader or strongman? i bet the supreme leader doesn't just eat burritos or nachos, he gets the burrito supreme or nacho supreme every time. and how the hell does a guy who looks like he gets winded from channel surfing get to be called a strongman?
what is the prefix you want in front of your name? superbowl mvp? knight of the white camilia? pop sensation?
