Such really cool friends I've made here from Brazil...Thomas, David, Gustov, Balthazar and a handful of their friends as well. Really warm and full of life! Having such an incredible time my soul is flying. All went out dancing then walking after to buy tequila, limes and salt. Walked through the streets talking laughing and listening to the beautiful languages of french and portuguese flowing amid english. Sat and watched the boats and water FREEZING and taking shots to keep warm. Said goodnight and Thomas, David and I continued on in the direction of Davids flat. In the Metro running through the tunnel on top of the tracks we arrived to our pick up, hopped on the Metro exhilerated and out of breath
....it seems I find myself running always to catch buses- shuttles- metros
During that night expolored below the buiding; then it was so cool, we went to the neighboring rooftop surrounded with winter ivy crawling the walls and leafless trees tall over it all. Had to make our way over wrought iron steepled tall gates then up a thick wall and along the top of it to arrive and collapse there breathless and surrounded by the night the view and our breathing. So good.
Lost a glove
I am taking a few days away from work now and we three are going to Amsterdam. None of us have been before.
