Grand Canyon pictures continued and still more coming. I took lots of video but andnowmiguel is responsible for the great photos.
Here I am getting my ass bruised by a natural rock water slide. I was wearing the life jacket around my waist for padding lucky enough cause I hit every rock at a pretty fast clip. Fun times!

Sand lizard...Rock lizard, I was a sun loving warmth hugger whenever we got out of the rafts. Pretty much after every rapid you would get a little wet to a lot soaked and spend a bit of time cold. I love to be warm.
Bug and I. I soon stopped wearing this dry jacket when I realized I stayed warmer with fewer clothes on. My skin could dry fastest of all.

This is one of my favorite images. Vishnu Schist rock formations were gorgeous and one of my favorite things in the canyon.

The Anasazi graineries...very ancient ruins. This was a very steep hike, 1000vertical ft.
I'm still getting used to being indoors. Last night I had a dream about some variety of sky diving...I remember falling through the air in a good way. .....I wore the same clothes every day for so long I have become attached to them. I need to adjust.

I'm back from the Grand Canyon and getting settled in. It is crazy to come back to American life/culture after being so removed from it in the canyon.
I wanted to say that I had a wonderful time meeting you and Miguel. I really enjoyed hanging with you both, talking with you, and getting to know you. The two of you are so talented, and you make such a beautiful couple. It was my pleasure & I missed not running into you more often.
I found your websites - Blyss, the photos of you are amazing! Congratulations, I love what you are doing.
Miguel, you are my hero! I love your work, especially your blending of photography and painting. (my canyon pictures don't look anything like yours - we're we in the same canyon?)
