Unfortunately...
Life has been unkind as of late.

My Grandpops died last week due to too many health complications in the hospital. My grandma is beside herself, and we've all been helping her through this.

The band broke up finally. I kinda saw it coming, but I've been playing in this band off and on with most of the same guys for a decade, so it's been a rough adjustment without -live- music to play each week. Even if our singer was sick alot, we had a chance to play some decent shows. Right now, I'm missing the whole music thing, and practicing the drums or playing to mp3's just aint the same.

After quite a long painkiller binge (which ended a couple months back), I lost alot of friendships and relationships in my life. I wasn't myself at the time because I was nearly out of my mind because of the dope and the addiction, and can't blame them. But it still SUCKS.

In unrelated news, found out my younger sis is pregnant recently, which sent my Jehovah's Witness parents into a tizzy. But they're going to be there for her through this. Just in their own bible-ish kinda way. I just hope the young idiot that got her pregnant stays connected and is a father to their child.

Trying to pick up the pieces of my life and reshape them into some kind of semblance of functionality.
