Tues at around 2pm my Dad fell off a ladder in his back yard cutting a tree limb, and fell maybe 10-12 ft and smacked his head real bad, and scratched up his arm, and his side a bit. But the main trauma was to his head. After being assessed once the paramedics arrived, they decided to helicopter him straight out to a bigger hospital in Sonoma County. I live "near" to where my folks do, so I had to feed all their animals and hold down the fort, so I was the one that didn't get to go with the rest of my family to the hospital where he was taken to.
My mothers and sisters kept me up to date with the situation, and we had to simply wait for the CAT scan to see if they needed to operate or not, because he did do some damage to his head. Luckily, the doctors said they didn't need to do surgery, that even tho there was a bleed, it should heal correctly. They told him to stay in bed around two weeks, but he is the most stubborn mule and thinks he can pull off working -tomorrow-...Yeah right. He can barely keep track of his meds right now, let alone go to work! Sigh.
I'm still taking my 3 month driving course to get my license back. Enough about this. It's a frustrating subject.
Playing alot of music with the guys and we just got a new song down really well. This band's currently got 7 songs and more on the way, so I I think our next gig is going to be promising. I actually can't wait to play for so many people again. The wait's been well worth and paying off tho. Patience and tenacity paid off too. The band is finally getting off the ground and really going places again. Having lots of fun along the way.

Stay frosty, everyone.
