Since the 25th, i've been couch-surfing between my hometown and my buddy's pad.
Havin' a blast, meeting new people, going to the bar, meeting yet more new people.
In other news, might've found a new screamer/frontwoman for our band named Sarah. Heard her screaming along to Lamb of God, and I was pretty damn impressed. She can belt it out dudes & ladies!!
Getting our new/current bassist who's into all that heavy music shit too, and we're gonna form a whole new Beast! So more updates on that later!
The current band is doing fucking -awesome-, we're poised to take over the North Bay once again with Absent Mind's catchy hard rock sound. We already played for the Fox in Santa Rosa, opening for some pretty big bands coming thru the area. Also rocked the North Bay regional showcase show before. One of my best friends/our old bassist walked away for religious reasons (leDouche) so we've been stuck in the lurch for about 2 years+ (i know, sad) trying to find anyone who's even remotely good enough to fill Ryan's shoes on bass. But we eventually found that dude, different style and all that, but the songs are sounding so good, we just all agreed that it's time to start playing shows again!
