Anyways, right now I'm on a soul binge musically. To me, Otis Redding was simply the most soulful voice that has graced this planet with his presence. That's not to say there aren't more excellent voices and talents. He's just my favorite in that genre. Have his songs on repeat on my comp.
Of course, metal is my main influence. But if you can't appreciate certain aspects of other types of music, then you're just a narrow minded fuck. Too many metal elitists with this attitude. Haven't run into too many in SG tho...
Speaking of SG, generally I don't see too much bitching or drama amongst people. There's always exceptions to the rules, but they occur few and far between, Everyone generally seems to let everyone else respect their own opinions and thoughts, without criticizing or taking an argumentative stance against anyone else.
Live and let live, seems.
Though there is always a social hierarchy and elitism in any social group, SG is no exception. I wish it was a little less cliqueish if I had to nit-pick. But over-all, I'm pretty happy with SG, and some of the people I've interacted with have been pretty cool (including some very down to earth and friendly SG's)
My account expires on the 25th of this month, so I'll be gone until the 3rd or 4th, when I get a little extra me money to spend another scription. It's by far worth what you get in return.
