Music's going great. Our new bass player is going the old songs down pretty good, and we've begun to practice on some new riffs that both he and our guitarist came up with.
Still waiting on my DUI info. Toxicology report is taking forever. I'm suspecting they found some things in my blood they weren't too happy to find (I AM part of the chemical halo after all) so bracing for the worst, but hoping for the best.
Fucking quitting cigarettes, so that's a bitch and a half by itself. My plan (which worked fairly well) was to puff on the herb instead of nicotine every time I craved a cigarette. Needless to say, I was pretty fuckin stoned for a number of days there...But I'm 5 days without a cig, so I'm proud of my damn self.
Finally broke down and bought NetFlix to watch all the latest and greatest movies without having to go blockbuster or whatnot, and I like the streaming videos for the music dvd's and movies already available. Only shitty part is my internets is too slow to keep up with the buffer, so I eventually have to pause it every once in a while to let the connection catch up. Ordered The Wolfman first. I don't care what any motherfucker says, I thought it was a great movie, akin to the mood of Interview with the Vampire. I liked the sets, wardrobe, and time period it's set in.
