Goddamn, we got a new bassist!! Fuck yeah!!!!11
We've been without a bassist for about a year and a half.
But this kid is used to playing death/speed/metal with a pick. Our last guy used pop'n'slap funk style with finger picking. Two -comPLETEly different styles, so it's like approaching the old music with a completely different mind-set with him, because there's no way these two guys could emulate each others styles in any way. Too diferent of styles.
But our frontman/guitarist likes what this new guy brings to the table, and is actually more excited about playing our music in about as long as we lost our last bass player.
We're gonna get some new demos together after hammering out some new music (which was like pulling teeth before we got the new guy), I'll definitely post a link if anyone's interested.
