This is going to take twice as long to update.
Why?
I think I sprained my wrist.
Making pancakes.
See, I was feeling pretty crappy because my Spurs were getting their asses handed to them by Detroit. I had made a batch of my nummy pancake mix and since I'm trying to eat healthier because, ya'll, my ass is HUGE, I figured a dinner of a couple of my whole wheat pancakes with applesauce would make me feel so much better.
And I mix my batter up and I spray the pan down with some store brand cooking spray, pour in half the batter and as that side cooks, I go to take the applesauce out of the fridge so it will warm up. I flip the pancake, and then go to open the applesauce and OH GOD THE TWISTING AND THE PAIN!!!!
So I hold the jar against my body with my right forearm and twist with my left hand because, damnit, I had come this far and I was going to have my pancakes!
I slide the pancake out of the pan and onto the plate, and pour the 2nd half of the batter.
Flipping the 'cake was kind of tricky since, unless I'm playing a musical instrument or jillin off, I am very much right handed. It was the first time I had to hold a spatula with my left hand.
And once it was cooked, then came the eating of the pancakes because, while I can stab food ok with my left hand, cutting it, even with the edge of of a fork, not so much. So I'd cut with my right and did I mention PAIN LIKE A THOUSAND DEATHS ALL THROUGH MY WRIST AND FUCK THE SPURS ARE DOWN LIKE A SQUAJILLION POINTS!!!
Were the pancakes worth all the trouble? You bet your sweet ass they were.
So, its been about 15 minutes and my wrist is still pretty tender, but not so much with the shooting pain. I'm not going to wake up to find my right hand on the floor by the bed, am i?

I am SO SO SO sorry I missed your hoodwarming soiree! I am a sick monkey, again. Damn my infernal immune system...spent the night watching eternal sunshine and hacking up my left lung. Yeah, it was a stellarly sexy evening.
