There is a website I've been doing tarot readings for for a while. Its normally 8 hours on a Sunday. I end up with some mad money after then but it leaves me worn the hell out.
They just called to see if I could do readings again this sunday (last time I worked for them was valentines day weekend).
I havent had a day off in a while. I mean a real day off where I havent told someone I'd be someplace at a certain time. A day where I'm not feeding the masses.
Dont get me wrong. I love my friends and my friends friends and being the jew mom in training I am, I'm a natural hostess, but, god damn, I'm looking forward to just sitting at home in my undies tonight, watching whatever crap is on the television.
And I'm looking forward to doing that Sunday as well (even though I have to drive back to san antonio Sunday afternoon). If it were one or two readings, cool, but 8 hours straight? And feeling like I've had the shit beaten out of me afterwards? Not so much.
But, hmmm, I want a new dress and some new shoes. What to do what to do.
