Okay people in spirit of a thread I read where rape was a major component and someones journal where her friend was drugged and may have been raped and then experienced awful help at a hospital. I am posting the number for RAINN the national hotline promoted by TorI Amos for Rape Abuse Incest National Network
1-800-656-HOPE

I have never used them but I am...

time and space don't necessarily have to be relative to each other (without an observer)...i don't think time is dependent upon human cognition. just because we are not here does not mean that things would stop..i think it's silly for us to think this way, however, there is no way to prove anything; this is a very abstract thought. i think the abstractness of the matter is what confuses people and let's them believe silly things like that. time does not depend on our existance, however if we were not here, the concept might not exist in a linguistic form, but that's not to say that it wouldn't exist at all, there would just be nobody there to care.
and i think we should be nice to people too...there's no reason not to, yet i cannot see how consequences could be distributed without a distributor, and i believe that if we have souls, god is likely to exist; a soul is not a worldly concept, and i don't think it can be produced by nature, because supposedly, this isn't the end (i believe this)...thus are souls would be unworldly. i think it's necessary to be ethical just for the sake of having compassion and there's no reason not to. everybody has a hard time, why hurt people rather than help them, i don't think this necessarily has anything to do with god, but how would consequences be given? this implies that karma is an element of nature (our creator) and we must have no existance beyond earth.

Yes, you can join my church! I absolutely love the Rev., saw them the first time in Jackson Hole, Wyoming at a bar there called The Mangy Moose. It was soooo fun, and their opening band (Bare Jr.) rocked the house. Good times. I recently was one of those people looking for a job, thankfully I found one relatively quickly cause I hate memorizing my resume to fill out job apps. Apparently I interview well, which is a good trait to have.
You have an uncanny resemblance to this one guy I know in Dharamsala....do you have any brothers who are religious leaders? wink

I cant sleep insomnia is great! i mean it leads to laughers.

definition of a laugher: when you are so tired you can barely peel off your clothes and crawl into bed and when your head hits your pillow you start spontaneously laughing because you know what sweet bliss is about to happen--- deep life-renewing sleep.

minumum requirements: sleep deprivation surreal at least 24 hrs, total...

I don't think anyone should be sentenced to death, but I think life in prison is a good sentence for a lot of people...depends on what they did.

I am anti-death penalty too. Especially for children. That's fucking wrong. But hey, if killing is wrong, killing is wrong, right?

i don't know, women had a tough time in times past. i feel fortunate to have been born in the late 70's.

i would however like the old west. brothels and cowboys, clawfoot tubs and whiskey, card playing, cheating, stealing and all that jazz.

Either medieval Scotland, renaissance England, or five years earlier than my birth year so I could truly experience the eighties. Or not. It was fun being a kid during all of that.

The Rev was here a month ago and he played two nights at a very small club and one night at a bigger club, then one night at a concert venue. I think he's just having fun with things. My girlfriend got to go to one of the small-club shows and said it was wonderful, so you should try and go. He rocks. I love the Rev.

jumble of random thoughts

I thinkI need to embrace my dark side more, I need to celebrate what is mysterious about myself. To indulge in ones senses or to let loose is a goodthing. I dont have to be so damn rational all the time !

Why is it the dark mysterious side/ or person mad seem more sexy than the open,wishy-washy and touchy feely?

(Wishy-washy definitely...

It's something that's been present throughout time. The term "Byronic Hero" was coined during the 1800s to describe such a person. A dark, mysterious, brooding person who often had a secret is seen to have pent-up passion, and anyone who can break through that exterior and allow themself into that world will be swept away as he loses himself in release. Examples of Byronic heroes are Satan in Milton's "Paradise Lost", Rochester in Bronte's "Jane Eyre", Dylan in "Beverly Hills 90210" (that is so NOT my example), Cooper in "Twin Peaks" (to an extent), the main character in "The Crow", and so on. You get the idea.

Short answer: Dark people are good in bed.
aoife:
wishy-washy is way not sexy. trying to impress people is way not sexy. having your own opinions and expressing them even when unpopular is sexy.
