Things have gotten pretty bad here at home. Lot's of financial difficulties that my brother is blaming on me. Last night my mom got in a pretty big fight with him so she went to stay at my sisters for the night. From what I gathered. it looks like my brother is going to stop helping support us and is giving my mother and I 2 months to clear out of here. We have no money so our only option is to move to Texas with my aunt and uncle. I thought about it a lot last night and I have decided to enlist in the Army. I don't have a good job and I can't afford to go to school so it looks like I have no choice. It's a hell of a thing. The last time I wanted to enlist was out of patriotism. Now I want to out of desperation. Such is life.

I know how you feel on the financial front, if something doesn't happen on the job front soon I'm not sure what we'll do.

Although choices seem limited, don't rush desperately into something. Once enlisted, it's hard to get out. Whatever you do decide, I hope it works out for you.
