I have been making plans to move to FL to be with Spud. My lease was up, perfect timing, etc. Only now the new lease has been signed by two replacement roomies (another roomie decided to leave) and as of yet we still have no place to live down there. And not sure when it will be able to happen. Not to mention the nearly three grand it will cost to rent a truck to get our stuff down there...
Anywho... I am looking for a place/room for at least the summer beginning June 1st. A sublet is fine. I can not do more then $450 right now, but hoping to find a better job. My preference is for Somerville/Cambridge area, close to Porter Square would be sweet, but redline great too. I do have a car, but would prefer not to HAVE to use it everyday. But at this point, I am looking at going home to my parents in NH or couch surfing, so that is a minor point. If anyone hears of a room up for grabs for the summer, please let me know!

have you tried looking at craigslist? that's always the best way to find apartments, i think. good luck!
