Treat the leather with saddlesoap or mink oil and it will soften up nicely, if stiff is what you don't want. And I must say that is one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time.

from one creative spirit to another, Vacuforming is a process by which you heat sheets of plastic and then pull them over a mold with the aid of a vacume. this is how you make stormtrooper armor, etc. it's a tremendous pain in the ass, you have to make your own vacuform table, etc.
it sucks, the pieces we made yesterday (i just discovered) were a bit thin. 1/8 inch; easier to vacuform and captures a lot of detail, but flimsy as hell when the excess is cut off.

hmmm, I never liked the 'new' vampire thing where vampires could have (and wanted to have) sex. vamps are ded, they are the undead to be specific.
