hmmm, I never liked the 'new' vampire thing where vampires could have (and wanted to have) sex. vamps are ded, they are the undead to be specific. The russian lit is going great. I finished reading Crime and Punishment during Easter break, and it's a fantastic novel. It's become a favourite of mine.
Also, I've read Turgenev's Diary of a Superfluous Man...
Based on that short story, I can understand your frustration with I. Turgenev, but I haven't read any of his later works.
Onegin is not on our curriculum this year, but from what I've read about this work of Pushkin, I will take the time to both read and watch it as soon as I can.
