Yeah, Guitar Wolf was everything you could ever dream of them being even though the place they played was about the size of a closet with about 500 people crammed into it. I stood on a chair so I could see them. Guitar Wolf went nuts and ran through the crowd and jumped on a table and played. He was pretty crazy. Before the show Drum Wolf was just sitting down at a table so I sat down with him and talked to him some and he was pretty much the nicest guy I have ever met. His English was pretty good, not great, but pretty good. He just hung out and talked to people, he was really cool. Didn't see Bass or Guitar Wolf until they came on...They played stupidly loud, like the loudest I have ever heard. Unlike every other show in Houston, for some reason the people just lost it and there were about 20 fights. The Wolf just drives people crazy, I guess. The opening bands were pretty good, actually. One of them was some Emo band and they were actually really good, kinda like Jawbreaker circa Dear You. Oh, and Guitar Wolf did a Clash cover which was pretty cool even though it was "Should I Stay or Should I go?"
All in all, they were pretty fuckin' bad-ass. But then, you already knew that, I'm sure.

I dunno...someone needs to do a noise rock version of that ABBA musical MAMMA MIA...just a thought.

At one point Seiji jumped in the crowd and somebody stole his shades. A bouncer had to hold him back from jumping back in the crowd he was so pissed.

The director of Sharskin Man and Party 7 has a new movie out, starring Asano of course. It is still expensive as fuck though. It's called "A Taste of Tea"...I am gonna wait until it gets cheaper.
