The Big Shindig is on!
The car show I'm putting on is on with a Vengance, such a vengance the flyer had to be laid on its side. It is going to be for traditionally styled hot rods 1963 and older. There will be four bands, (rock, rockabilly, and rockin' bluegrass) and possibly more to be announced, food, booze, and tattoos. It is on saturday July 2nd in downtown Vancouver so there is no reason you cant come! it is free to see, but to get your car in it is 10 clams. This has been a big pain in the ass, but it will be worth it. I hope somebody can put it on SGPDX for me!!
Last weekend I drove to Idaho for a car show/party at Travelin' Tony Fernetti's place.
We go every year and it is a blast! He puts on one hell of a party. A seven hour drive seems like nothing after Vegas, it was the two nights of drunken madness and the passing out in my car that was the roughest. Elvis didn't make it this year but there was a very drunk pink bunny riding a Harley through the party for a while.
Tony got a little drunk and burned up his spare tire when he was showing off his flame throwers too.
Not much planned this weekend, a couple of get togethers and alot of promoting this car show. I've still got a couple of trophys to make too................
