When you have sex with someone, you share a part of your soul with them. If it is just casual sex, then a part of you is ripped off when they leave. A long term relationship, however, give your soul and their soul time to grow together. If you do part after a couple of years, they rip part away but enough stays to grow back, kinda like a starfish that is ripped in half and can grow into two starfishes. Casual sex just rips more and more away.
Marriage should be until death do you part. My wife and I will have been married for 9 years in April. Its been rocky a couple of times but we have stuck it out.
If you have two souls growing together and nurturing each other, it is an amazing thing! I really do believe that you will find the girl of your dreams.

You'd be surprised. there are parts of Texas where you would fit right in, no problem. Houston isn't bad as far as that goes, but I cannot reccommend it's weather or city planning (traffic etc.) but apparantly there are some cool people there!
most of them end up moving to Austin though. I think you'd possibly like Austin.
