So i'm writing you while on break from day 1 of my god forsaken hostess job. I'm pretty pissed because I didn't get the manager position, I got my typical grunt job (i've been working the same position for three years now) and basically they just hired my manager because she's this pretty, vacant "like totally" blond girl. She, and the whole staff I am working with this summer, have NO EXPERIENCE. I'm the only one who has any experience working the desk. My business is under new management so I am surrounded by new managers saying, "Oh! Well I didn't know this is your third year with 'us!' " Well...yeah!
They DID, however, give me a 40 dollar bi-weekly pay raise, which I guess is pretty cool. That will fund one more extra club night per week for me.
I was on CL complaining about ageism in the SF lesbo community (as I use CL to bitch and moan about everything annoymously) and I was basically saying that around here, nobody takes you seriously as a lesbian until you're past 24. I always get teased by EVERYONE (bartenders, bouncers, random chicks) for being 21. Anyway, this REALLY hot half white half Brazillian chick wrote me this email in broken English about how she'd like to get together sometime. I wasn't even posting a personal! (She is soooooo hot, I was like "Clearly you're not gay.") I got another email from some chick saying, "Hi, i'm an experienced older lesbian, do you wanna have sex with me?"
YES. This is brilliant. How hilarious would a date with this Brazillian chick be? Oh my God it would make the best story. Well, she seems pretty nice, so maybe she wouldn't be insane! Anyway, i'm just looking for friends right now; as it is I get like 2347808 weird chicks responding to my planetout ad per day and i'm kinda tired of weeding through them, and again my only salvation lies 10 solar systems away from me.
Right now, the world is my bitch. I'm gonna make it bend over in a room plastered with yellow wallpaper. And if anybody here has done women's studies or read that story...well...you know how applicable the yellow wallpaper is right now.
