The inspiration for these miniatures was drawn from an SG photo set, 'Llona...Green Dress'.
Enjoy.

#17: The goddess, see?
(The goddess sea. Some
Thing to think, a
Knitted ink. The waves
Begining, end in
Palming.)
#23: What did you
Say? Saying
Becomes
Easier. It blends, it's
Bending...
#8: Happy with company, then
Without. A slow sound
Suddenly, like a tree
Growing (White-light limbs
And a carpal
Flower.)
#7: Post-promenade or
Before. An umbilical
Tickle.
#20: A cat becomes
Itself. A black
Leaf; pulse beats
Sun. No flash
Of eye, a shy
Disguise.
#11: The peak of
The peek. One
Long, silver
Eye
Sighs
Back.

Went home today for a short visit. Lacey greeted me with a bitchy air-raid siren 'where the fuck have you been' meowing fit, quickly forgave and jumped into my arms. Head rubbins and groomy-daddy-kissy-beard-kisses. Went downstairs, cat zooming ahead, up onto new sculptures, meowmeowmeow...into room to find: FLOOD DAMAGE!
Most of the big paintings are elevated on 2x4's. Very worried about 'Medusa Loves Lucifer' because of the oil paint stick and ink, but it seemed fine. Most of them are painted on heavily sealed plywood with thick acrylic, so not easy to damage. Two portfolios were slightly damp, but not much to worry about...old studies on inkjet paper glued to posterboard. Early examples of 'Gothic Camoflauge', though. Gotta have those framed soon. Spray sealed and maybe a clear gesso on the back. The much labored study for 'The Spectre of Courage- Pablo Picasso in Hell' had some water damage on one corner, but the image was intact.
Big time anti-mildew work when I return. Seems like the story of my life here lately: Pack, Move, Clean, repeat. If it's character building, I'll have so much f***ing character you wont be able to get within 20 miles of me.
Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out...
Isn't that the advice I gave to someone recently? Must remember: Listen to Self!!!!

Low-tek dinner: BeanieWeenees. Of course I stir fried the weenees in yellow curry and fresh garlic, and doctored up the beans with golden mustard, El Salvadoran hotsauce and worcester. Finished it off with crumbled basil, pepper flakes and parmesan. It was tasty.
I'm a creative-compulsive. It's a good condidtion to have.
More work tomorrow. Moving day on Wednesday, the big furniture.
Wish me....

"So the artist of abundancies delights in puns and interlocking and seperating figures, plays of things missing or things appearing 'out of order', but these remind us that all orders have their justification finally in an order of orders, that only our faith, as we work, addresses."
