Uhhh ... I should probably explain that last one. I got a staph infection in my legs this week (it's a really nasty bacterial infection, one of the few things that can still kill people and it just pops up sometimes without a lot of rhyme of reason) and the doctors did a bunch of tests because i guess for some reason the swelling is sometimes a side-effect of herpes (wtf???) anyway, long story short, my blood tests came back totally clean on HSV1 and HSV2, which is awesome. I had a couple of really freaked out days there. And that coupled with my usual twice a year screening I did last month adds up to a very healthy and happy little monkey.
In the meantime, my doctor gave me Keflex (the hydrogen bomb of antibiotics) and my legs are happily no longer the size of soccer balls. Time to commence with the drinking dancing and bullfighting. Ole!
