I was involved in a car accident earlier this evening. Nothing too bad, just a tad more than a fender bender.

The guy was trying to change lanes while waiting for a red light in his own packed lane. What he didn't realise, apparently, was that the laws of physics state something about two quantities of matter, whatever form they take, cannot occupy the same place at the same time. So, rather than driving THROUGH my car, which is the only logical intention, he learned his lesson on my rear driver's side quarter panel.



Through the whole situation, I was really nice, and stated multiple times, that "these things happen." It was my way of attempting to make a difficult situation a little better. I have a feeling the little fucker is gonna try to screw me.

Bastard.

Main thing I was concerned about though, was his wife being pregnant. I was hoping she wasn't hurt. She told me she wasn't hurt. I asked multiple times if she was hurt, if the impact had shaken her. She said no. On all counts.

...happiness.

Still, had the guy checked the lane AS he was turning, instead of several moments BEFORE turning, we'd hardly be in this mess.
