So, from consensus around here, no one gives a shit or two about Velvet Revolver. But, last night I was at their show at the Quest, and they fucking rocked the place.

Understand, above and beyond all else, that I am a skinny pale dude. I smoke too much, and I get this weird throat thing when I go to shows... it may be a mental thing, jury's still out on that one. None of this stopped me from getting rather "involved" in the show, getting carried away, pushing through the crowd, jamming the fuck out, kicking some ass, and just enjoying the fuck out of it in general.

I left there with a headache, a soaking wet shirt and hair, a wristband I'm still wearing, ears that are still ringing, pants that got ripped up the back of the right leg, and a huge fucking appreciation of this band. They kicked my ass.
