so, this dream I had was a little too weird to let go...so why not post it for the world to see? or so goes my rationale...
...I was in a cave. and it was dark (usually is), and I was speaking with a friend about the thing that was coming for me. I don't know what it was. I never saw it, but had seen it, apparently before I had my dream. Ex-girlfriends and women I've never seen started coming up to me and talking to me as a friend. They were all very sad because I had impregnated them all and they gave me their babies to eat.
Instead of eating them, I only ate a couple and gave the rest back. Those women who took back their babies walked over to the mouth of a different cave and threw them inside. They immediately decayed into bone and leather-like skin, and I went walking through the remains.
I have these dreams sometimes...usually in 2 to 4 week intervals...and they tend to affect me for days or even weeks. I don't know where they come from or why they have to be so vivid. I may be going insane. The colors are there, the sounds are there, but especially the textures of things, the way a twig snaps under your bare foot.
So, as a service to my mental health, does anyone have a take on what it might mean?
