I had a kick as party last night to celebrate the Winter Solstice, nine people showed up, we ate seafood gumbo and everyone had a great time. Kate and Debra got really drunk but a nice fun drunk. I played the blues all night for the party and most of it was lesser known blues people which I seem to go for.
Laurie even had a couple of drinks and kept saying she was going to go but stayed for over an hour she even took a tupperware of gumbo with her when she left. Am I a good cook or what ? We are going to the local Blues and Jazz Society's New Years Eve bash together. Oh boy!
I made a dirty Martini for Lita and she said It was top notch. Am I a good bar tender or what?
I don't have any big plans for Christmas, It's nice to have four days off.
