Yeah, I know...long time, no update, blah blah blah, anyway...
So I received the 1985 Live Aid DVD set for Christmas. 10 hours of bands playing songs so that people in Africa wouldn't starve. I've watched about two hours so far, and I've only seen two artists that I know more than one song by, and that was Sting and Phil Collins, and they played...

Not a ton to say, but I wanted to say a quick big ups to Scylla, Mike, and marLynn, and anyone else who wishes me a happy birthday before the night is out. You guys rock faces!
Also, Flux's Dune set might be the best thing ever. I'll sword fight her anyday. I have a sword, Flux. Roll for initiative...

thanks for the nice comment on my set! hope you have a good new year!!
I just finished my pre-birthday celebration night with the guys. Yes, I realize it ended at 9 PM, but I have to work tomorrow, and the last time I stayed out with the guys past 9 I ended up at the strip club with the inability to remember the phrase "No, I would not like another lap dance, miss."
But I digress.

So were you at the show Doll Face Devils show?? I don't remember seeing you.
I have recovered.
Post-migraine is alot like a hangover. You're very dehydrated and spacey, and you still have a little bit of a headache. And you might vomit without provocation.
But I did not.
I got out today in time to see the wonder that is Evansville in thaw. I can actually see the pavement in places! And I will definitely be able to get...

Depends...will I get a big hug from my favorite Suicide Girl?
As I write, a wrenching pain is twisting my right eye up. This is no fun at all.
I suffer from migraines, a malady I wish on no one, even my worst enemies. For those of you that do not have them, allow me to suggest some steps you can take to simulate one, so you can share in my discomfort:

30 degrees and the snow ain't moving, and I'm starting to cringe a little. Getting to work tomorrow is going to be a bitch, trying to run my little car up the hill, sliding around on three inches of ice. Oh well. I'm trying to come up with anything else to do but go outside and dig my car out, which is what I really...

Scylla - I'll whore for you anytime, sweetie! And I'd probably keep the sex dream to yourself as well. I told the object of mine only because we are very close, and talk about that kind of thing all the time anyway. Plus, there is nothing worse than blog drama...
MistiDawn - Never fear. My sources tell me that tomorrow will bring us a high of 41, and that by Wednesday we'll be in the fifties. We'll get out of here yet.

Me lookin' all hot
With 19 inches of snow blocking my happy ass from going anywhere this Christmas, including back home to see my family, I have spent the better part of the last 3 days trapped in my apartment, desperately trying to come up with things to do. This morning, I joined SG, basically, because I had been meaning to for some time, and it seemed like the...

Hey, welcome to the site!
American Psycho - the book is pretty interesting, although I think that Less Than Zero is a genuinely amazing book.

biglivin999:
Thanks for the welcome! Less Than Zero was pretty cool. It caught that transitional phase of leaving for college and then trying to come home and hang out with old friends who are still doing the same things while you've moved on. You should try to catch the movie version, though. If ever there was a case of poetic license being taken, its this one. They took a dreary, kinda bleak book, and turned it into a hard-partying Brat Pack era movie with Robert Downey Jr. and Andrew McCarthy. And they even tack on a happy ending.
