O.K. we did BurningMan. It was a blast but as we were heading out the gate in 105 degree heat (it takes 3 to 4 hours to leave due to all the people) my F-ing VW Van overheated and the head gaskets blew out. Turns out the ass-wipe mechanic I hired to fix something on the steering column didn't properly secure the wire going to the radiator fan and the wire got all jacked which totally caused the radiator fan to go out. No radiator fan...no cooling of water in engine....engine gets overheated....car no worky. So we had to have it towed from the middle of fucking no-where, like over 100 miles, (the tow truck driver was a 16 year old kid..what a trip) to a shop in Reno where they could fix it. It was a Sunday when the van went down and the following day was Labor day so we chilled by the pool for a day at a casino in Reno before a mechanic could look at it. At first we didn't know how serious it was, but they told us by noon on Tuesday so we headed home to Portland. I just finally flew back down there to drive it back home last week.
My only big comment about BurningMan is that it is getting absolutely huge and I tended to notice lots of people who were kind of touristy. We're sort of considering giving it a rest for a year but it's still early. I'm also thinking about doing Cycle Oregon next year which means I have to pick one or the other since they are so close to one another on the calendar.

BURNINGMAN... I'm so jealous. Thanks for the comment on my old rejected set. I'm deleting it but wanted to say thank you first.
