So, depending on how much you like to nerd out, and about what, it may interest someone here that SpaceX's Falcon Heavy rocket is launching from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida tomorrow at 1:30 PM, local time. I've been on the space exploration nerd train since Richard Branson and his Virgin Galactic company was predicting the start of commercial space tourism aboard Burt Rutan's Ansari X-Prize winning spaceships in 2008 or 2009. It's been a little while, but there's been enough news and advancement since then to have kept my interest all the way until this, kind of the most exciting space thing to happen since the last Shuttle flight in 2011.
Anyway, if anybody wants to watch it, there will be plenty of live web streams going on, including the official SpaceX webcast at www.spacex.com/webcast at 1830 UTC. Hope it goes well!
