Okay so it's been a while since my last blog...
no new art yet, but i have something in progress. I thought I would just kind of throw this out there just in case...
As many of you know I was planning on moving back to Portland, OR and wound up in Orange County CA instead. The reason was to come out and help my brother out with his business. Turns out, business is bad, really really really bad. We can barely afford payroll bad. Soooooo I am looking for a new job because I have no desire to get evicted because my employer couldn't pay me. I'd prefer to stay here since my lease is set through the end of September, but with the way the economy is especially in California, I may be open to the Bay Area or Portland Oregon as initially planned. I have essentially been the Assistant Controller/Full-Charge Bookkeeper/Admin/HR/PR/Marketing Director for the past 5 1/2 years. I have a BA, not in Accounting though. I have taken many many accounting classes to make up for that and eventually will probably get my MBA in Finance. I ran everything but operations for a company (not my current, the previous) that had 25 employees, 3 locations and 4 departments and did appx 4.5m in revenues. I'm looking to something comparable. So if anyone knows of anyone looking for a rockin money gal, let me know!

and since i have no other pressing news i'm out

But great for you if you are doing what you want. I happen to know of an accounting position open in Bend, OR if you want to come to hick town but CA is probably more fun.
