Today was a pretty nice day. The pictures and book that really needed to be ordered was ordered. I made apple porkchops and creamy hashbrowns for dinner and we invited a couple that we like to hang out with and had dinner, watched "Earth" on our PS3 and then they watched me play LittleBigPlanet for a little while. It was a really good day.
I got a VERY odd piece of mail today. It had my maiden name typed on it, no return address and inside were just clippings of evangelical "come to Christ" pamphlets. It came through the Quad Cities and I am just so confused as to who has sent it. People who are related to me know my married name now and it's been two months I don't think they would have used my maiden name....It was all just very confusing and I didn't know whether to be upset about it or what. Whoever sent it definitely wanted me to not know who it was, not even hand writing my name and address on the envelope they went out of their way to use a typewriter. So weird!
Tomorrow I have a little booth at our town's college for Family Weekend, hoping I'll get some walk-ins for a quick family portrait. It seems like an easy day.
The rest of the evening may be television and hanging out with the husband. Always a good time.
I'm mentally preparing myself for Bacon Day (monday) I looked at my chosen recipes and all together it'll be 33 strips of bacon used in my meals, even more if I go ahead and make the bacon bouquet. (Yes, a bouquet of bacon that are rolled up as roses and baked. If I'm good at them I may have Bacon-grams where women can send the significant men in their lives a manly gift, a bouquet of bacon.
