Oh man, I am beat. I didn't have that great of a sleep last night and this morning. And then I was DETERMINED to get a ton of work done today. And I did. I got two engagement books and I did a wedding book today. I feel like I kicked ass.
I saw "Inglorious Basterds" tonight and I am definitely going to see it again in theaters. Holy crap! It was great! If you haven't read the Suicide Girl interview of Eli Roth yet then you should definitely hit it up, it helped me prepare for the movie. Eli mentioned that the end of the movie is kind of cathartic, especially the fire scene where Eli said that the audience would see the people burning as just people, not Nazis who deserved it. While I watched the scene I definitely got that solemn feeling. However, my husband is a monster and was laughing through the whole scene.
But I knew who I was marrying. Oh well. The movie is definitely violent and definitely nonfactual like they said it would be. And Brad Pitt was fanfuckingtastic. I would say that I wish there was more of him in the movie, but then it would have been The Brad Pitt movie, but he was perfect. I am so glad he was able to do the film. If you are also an Office fan than you will be happy with B.J. Novak's performance. And the soundtrack, definitely Tarantino, so I loved it.
Run, don't walk, to your theater to see this. And then run back and see it again.
While I was working, I had my pandora Regina Spektor station on and a new song came on, but it sounded familiar at the same time. It was Ben Folds "You Don't Know Me", but it was being sung by an A Capella chorus. And it was amazing! I immediately downloaded the entire album from iTunes. If you haven't check out "Ben Folds Presents: University a Capella!" It is fun and I think I will be enjoying it for a long time.
I'm going to chill the rest of the night in front of some Sex and The City.
