you might just need to take some time away for the feelings to settle down before you regroup as friends, I've done it, it sucked but it's a lot better than losing a friend

If you want to get stuff off your old hard drive, remove it from your computer and get an enclosure for it making it into a USB hard drive. Then you just plug it into your new/other comp and pull whatever you want!

think of the things you like in life and incorporate that into a theme or idea....like the one with the guitar. Do you have favorite characters from movies or books or comics? A photo set is your chance to play an alter-ego, to act. Or it could be a favorite location. Or just redo themes that have been done before but in your own way, just be yourself and it'll be unique, you know?

maybe think of a set as going out on a date. What would you wear special? What mood would you be in? Would it be to a concert of your favorite band? Favorite movie or movie character? Forget the word "creative" and just think "a chance to do something different and fun."

That's a great self humilation story you got there. I'ts embarassing but it's always a good oportunity to look back and laugh.

Once I went all the way to technical assistance with my laptop claiming that my keyboard was on short cirtuit, and the keys were being mismatched and it was typeing numbers instead of the letters... The guy took to my computer and pressed "Num Lock" and gave me it right back saying "there you go sir! "
