I was at work at some seedy motel where these wild alleycats would run amok. I would usually leave part of whatever fastfood I was eating that night in the parking lot for them and let them have at it, they looked pretty hungry, but none of them would EVER let me get within 5 feet of them. One night, I come out of this seedy motel room at the seedy motel to grab a redbull out of the car and here this high pitched whining. It sounds like a child and it's 2am, so I start frantically trying to see where this keening is coming from and low and behold, there in the middle of an empty carport is sitting this adorable black kitten. I start to slowly walk towards him and he just sits and looks at me. eventually I get about 2 ft away and he takes a couple steps towards me...

I walk back into the seedy motel room with the biggest smile on my face and Jack (who was working with me that night) looks confused until I open my jacket and he hears "meow! meow! meow! meow!" and he just laughs...

"Have fun getting Brandon to let you bring home another cat!"

And I waited and waited and waited to tell Brandon. Then we got home and I showed him and he says "Well, that explains why you were in such a good mood tonight."I love finding kittehs...
