Someone once said to me "Whatever you're doing on New Years, that's what you'll be doing for the whole year." At the time, of course, I thought it was complete horse shit, but looking back over the years it's turned out to be fairly true.
This last new years I was drunk as hell and alone. That kindo sums up 2006. On new years I went out to Space Island to hang out and ring in the new year properly and meet trilobyte. I almost did, but was too drunk to even get up and say hi.
The year before that I did nothing for New Years. I was at Mamabunnys house in Austin. We got mildly drunk and did a few fun things, but for the most part, we did nothing. That was the bulk of what each day consisted of in 2005.
The year before that I just kindo kicked back and relaxed on New Years. About thesame for all of 2004. Just relaxed and enjoyed life. Went to the nudie bar a lot.
I was at work on new years 2003. I was very sad from hearing some awful news.
(Sidenote: That and the next rant I made pretty much sum up my whole life and explains why I'm living as I'm living today.)
That was pretty much all I did in 2003 was work 14-20hr days 7 days a week.
I don't have a clue what the hell I did before that. I'm sure I was drunk as hell though. Nor do I have a fuckin' clue what the hell I'll be doing tonight. It woulddefinitely be good to go out and do something with Sadis since day after tomorrow he goes into jail for a few months.
But If it's anything like yesterday I'll be sleeping. I'm not sure entirely what that means. I suppose I'll find out in a few months.

I do not remember what I did New Year's 2007. I think I might have been at home chatting on SG chat. Which would be fitting, because all of 2007 was spent traveling around meeting chatters. It was a busy year doing that. So it might have been accurate then too.
