I'm not much for hawking someone else's product, but have you guys seen the SG UK Holiday DVD? It's pretty amazing and it's the best $5 you will ever spend in your life. Trust me. I had a funny experience while watching it. I realized that while I have met some amazing, amazing people on this site who have become some of my best friends in my life, the three girls whom I really adore in this UK Holiday DVD are people I have NEVER met in real life. And to a greater or lesser extent they remain mystery friends to me. It's so fantastic to see them be living, breathing, talking people. I've talked to Vice for years now without actually seeing her speak much.![]()
Isn't she just amazing?? Seriously!
Then there is AnnaLee, who I have to admit to being a fan more than a friend of. But I love when I get to do talk to her. She's like a beautiful holdover from another age. I'm glad she gets to share the planet with us now, however.
Then, of course, there is the astonishing Aisline, who is so perfect it's not even fair. She fills me with sighs and a hope for a better world.
And, somehow, even though I've been on this site since 2004 (!!!!) I have somehow missed gorgeous sets by people like Chad, Arabella, Lumo , Mel, Katherine and others. And I was reminded once again on the huge internet crush I have on Lass
Like I said, it's worth the $5
I've had kind of a crazy summer. Some good, some bad. I've noticed, however, that when I get kicked around a bit by life I want to come back to SG. It's a place I've always really felt at home. And, like I said, I have met some of my favorite people in the world here. People who have been willing to ride with me for a while on my journey. I just met up with Cat recently. She's long left the site and we live in different cities now, but we met through this site a LONG time ago and have been in each others life to some extent ever since. I was in her wedding a few years ago!
And speaking of people I cherish, please go check out Vivid's new set. .
She never fails to make the world a better place for me.
Anyway, thanks for your patience. And I just wanted to take a minute to thank two people who I talk to every day and love with all my heart. Like I said, it's been a crazy summer and they've always, always been there for me.
