I seriously just woke up half an hour ago.
Last night was my work's Holiday/X-mas party. The store's assistant manager made us a giant dinner, and then we proceded to get completely wasted. I was very much impressed this morning that I wasn't peeling myself off of the bathroom floor. It was a great night, full of embarassing stories, girls showing off their deep throating skills on beer bottles (not me though, I have class
), and much silly, silly giggling. I didn't get home untill well after 3am, then called up ye olde boyfriend and went out again, not falling asleep untill after 6am. Then I had to work at 1pm. So when I got home I just kind of collapsed. Even though I don't get paid that much and I'm usually struggling for hours, I have to say that I really love the people I work with. One day when I own my own burlesque house, they're all gonna get free lifetime memberships.
Yesterday at work I put together a shitload of Previously Viewed stuff from the 'Favourites', or 'old' section. This rules because not only do I have first pick, but because everything is crazy cheap. We're getting rid of a copy of Magnolia on DVD for $6.99, so guess what else went into my reservation pile this afternoon?
Good Eats is the best show on the food network. Alton Brown is my hero. "Whomever can remove the Avocado stone from the steel of my knife shall be named king! Ah! Look! Peasants have approached!" What a guy.
