Wow, it's been a long time since I've updated. But alas I haven't got that much to report. It's blustery and cold here, but it's Winnipeg, so what the hell else is it supposed to be like in January? I just finished reading "Snow falling on cedars" and it was boring as hell with an equally boring ending. Next in line, a choice between 2 'clubs'; either my autographed copy of Fight Club (if I can muster up the nerves to touch it, let alone crack it open) or *sigh* The Joy Luck Club, which my fasha gave me for Christmas. Gritty, tension-strewn naration heavy gold? Or multi-generational angst-ridden Asian women? Hmmmm.....
The cool part about working at a movie store is that when it get's slow (like today, I swear I served maybe 5 people in the 3 hours I was there before I got sent home to save labour) I get to go into the computer system and order DVD's. Oh yes. And today I went nuts. I've got copies of Leon: The Professional (10th anniversary edition), Irreverisble, Green Card (cuz it's cute, and I'm allowed to like big sweaty frenchmen), and The War Zone (cuz Time Roth is a God on either side of the camera) on order.
And now I'm going to go eat pickles and sniff myself as I reek of delicious vegan lotion. And how.
