OH. MY. GOD.
I love Folk Fest. And no, I don't just love it like I love Fresca, or a fine Cuban Cigar. I love it like I love air, shelter, food, and other basic necessities.

Wednesday-Night the First: After spending the majority of the morning (9am-11:30am) sitting in my dad's car in line-up just waiting to get into the campground, lugging crap from the drop off zone, wandering aimlessly trying to find the rest of our group, pitching tents etc most of us were exhausted. Our tent circle neighbours were awesome and uber fun. Steve feasted on Lesbian Lite (or Labatt Lite for those of you who don't know that story) while I consumed dangerous amounts of Cyclone, the liqour that defies that tested and true "don't mix your alcohol" rule by doing it for you. Rum and Tequila in the same drink. GENIOUS. Only downside, I stepped ona peice of someone's broken beer bottle and bled for a while. Thank God for tetnis shots.

Thursday - Night the Second: Summatime, and tha livin's EZ. It's EFFING HOT. 30+ allday, which means lots of napping under trees, taking ice cold spongebaths, and watching the progression of how filthy my feet can get. Spent a few hours at the beach, ate canteen food and watched boys rub sun screen on eachother while people took pictures. At the festival I got my "eating curry in 30+ weather" fix. We trekked to the main stage to watch The Wailin' Jenny's, Sheena Grobb, Bedouin Soundclash (who blew my mind) and Greg MacPherson (who also blew my mind). After wandering back to the campsite I made a cooler full of white zinfandel Sangria and drank it ALL. Then dined on wine-soaked orange slices. Awesomesauce.

Friday - Night the Third: Got to see a couple people I haven't laid eyes on for a while. Catching up is fun. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt & Salil Bhatt gave a mainstage show that was unbelievable. I HEART Citars. Hawksley Workman gave an awesome show and made me remember why I started to like him way back when, before I forgot why he was so cool. Him live is nothing like his albums, not that I would know seeing as my last chance to see him live I couldn't get a ticket and had to take the bus home while all of my freinds got to go. *frown* He was too amusing. Drank more cyclone and took Steve on an hour or two long wander around the campsites and up to the hill, where I danced like the big fat hippy I could be if I didn't work at a bank.

Saturday- Night the Last: It was finally cool enough during the day to sleep, so I did, untill about noon. Steve bought me a pretty hand-moulded red leather pendant (as this day was our 4th anniversary, yeah us!) Tasty Thai food and the absolutely awesome show by the Refugee All Stars Of Sierra Leonne make this an incredible night. Also took in 'that one guy" who gave me the house/dance beats I so craved. It got to be SIC cold, which totally killed my whole plan of doing mushrooms all night. Ended up playing crazy eights in the tent and shivering.

Sunday - Packing is such sweet sorrow: got home after 6pm, got naked and showered. Still can't believe how dirty I manage to get in such a short amount of time.

So that's about it, of course there's tonnes of stuff that I can't recall at this point in time to type about it. I have a lot of drugs and booze left, which makes me hopefull that the nest month or so will be uber fun. And shiny.

HEARTS!
