I just got home from work/buying delicious juice.

The job's actually going okay. Even though the first day I worked was apparently unusually busy for this place, the owner kept telling me not to worry, that Friday lunches are usually just regulars ordering soup and coffee. So I relaxed. And then, by about 11:30am, all of my tables were full except for 3. So busy in fact that the owner had to help out the cook. It was insane, but I made $30 in tips. So wooo me. I was so excited I came home and made myself a festive tip jar.
This is just a crappy scan, as I don't have a digital camera yet, but as you can see ... FESTIVE.
And, as another plus I got to celebrate the loverly Arete's 22nd Birthday on Saturday. It was swell, and I was trashed. I love going to her house, because it has the exact layout of another house we used to party at in high school. In fact, one time we partied SO HARD, we got one of our friends evicted from that very house. That and I love her cats and the abundance of coctail olives in her fridge.

on thursday i saw me some G.mac at the albert and ran into some of the guys i didn't know who just showed up at my house last saturday. not surprisingly, they were wasted again. oh those boys.
