ugh.
i feel like all i do as of late, is drive.
drove up to the house last nite to go to my work's christmas party. my bosses gave a little speech about how they really appreciate all of the hardwork that we do, and they dont look at us as employees - but as friends...it was really nice. i guess the flooding of the restaurant was a blessing in disguise, bkz they renovated EVERYTHING. new carpets, furniture, new computer systems, etc. i'm excited to go back. i need money too. i havent worked in over a week. i have 3$ in my purse right now.
so anyway, the christmas party was alot better than i thought it would be. everyone was drunk and happy, and laughing and having a good time. the party started @ 8, and we were the last ones in the bar. we left at about 1:30. it was funny. driving home was such a BITCH. it was only supposed to snow about an inch. well it was coming down hard as hell when i left. what normally would've been a 20 minute trip, took almost 45 min. i was driving 15mph, and i had zero visability. very scary. but i made it home in one piece thankfully.
my best friend kerry's father had a serious heart attack on christmas. very scary. but he's doing alot better now, and he doesnt need surgery - which is good. i swear, me and her have been thru so much this past year. it's really scary, growing up. we're getting older, our parents are getting older, and life is making some permanent changes. but i'm glad her dad is okay....
i havent eaten anything in 24 hours, so i'm going to look into that now. i think i'm going to dinner with my friend lisa who i havent seen in FOREVER tonite. that excites me.

I know the feeling about growning up, my grandparents are in and out of t he hospital all the time. Sheesh.
