how have you been ? how was your thanksgiving ? all is well on the east coast, was in San Fran and San jose last week for 5 days for work - almost had to go to portland, never been

Did you use Kraft mac & cheese? When I was in school, I had Creamette's once, and it was fabulous. I could never get it again, though: there was a Kraft factory in town, and I think they paid the local groceries not to stock their competitors' products.

My tday should be somewhat interesting. I'm having dinner at my cousin's house. He got married to his long term boyfriend, and after that prop passed I wonder what he's going to do. I'm making pumpkin pie squares. It's a poor substitute for having the right to marry, but it might help.

It's possible. Their 38th anniversary was this weekend, so I'm thinking they probably came to terms one way or the other. They sounded to be in reasonably good moods tonight when I talked to my dad, so I'm thinking any thought of it has been postponed until the new year at least. But my mom told me a few weeks ago that she was as close to wanting it as she's ever been.

My bosses wife led a how to knit class at chopsticks last night. Between the drinking and karoake, I just can't see too much knitting going on. One of the students said, "Gosh this is easy... and fun... now I don't have to chase boys anymore!" It's true.

Love your new pic. I used to work 4x10s and had 3 days off, but they were always during the week. Still that extra day off made a huge difference. The different start times suck right now though - 6am Tu/Th, 9:30am M/W/F. If I go in early every day, I'm still going to be staying late. Then I'll just be working more hours and getting less down time away from it. And I don't get overtime, so I've limited motivation for that. And really, work does suck the life out of me.

I know exactly what you mean about being too "forgiving" over major stuff. I'll have to tell you a story sometime about my friend Daryl.

I think the plan is to drive up to Vancouver sometime this afternoon, grab some food, see some sights, meet up with my pal Liz, hit some clubs, drink the night away.

We have not, as of yet, decided if we're going to be getting a hotel room or doing the long drive back to Seattle at the wee hours of the morning after we've sobered up a little.

But it should be a good time! My big yellow car will be getting it's first trip across the border.
