ok, it's about time i updated, especially since i'm in such a fantastic mood. switters came out to visit me for my birthday and we had a fantastic time. we went to the coast for a hike where i proved i'm in as good shape as he is (or he's as bad as me). we went out to dinner, went to seattlem he stayed with me the whole time, and i love him. we certainly have a long way to go to patch everything up, but i think finally we're on the right path.
my girlfriends and i have decided to run the seattle half marathon in november. i'm so excited about this--it's more than 4 times longer than i've ever run at one time. so last sunday i went out to forest park to see what i could do and i ran over 5 miles! i felt great!! i definitely think i'll be able to do this.
i went to the farmer's market on saturday and got lots of fresh veggies, i've lost 6 lbs so far this month and ordered a bikini for my friend's wedding at the beach this august.
this weekend i'm going sea kayaking in seattle--probably an overnight trip. sounds like a lot of fun and not nearly as scary as the whitewater kayaking i did a few summers ago.
i'm still broke though, but that doesn't seem so bad. i'm hoping to go to amsterdam in september. i've already got 17 days off from work, i just hope my friend is still out there by then. if not i'll just go somewhere else i guess. anyways, i have to start saving up.

i used to sea kayak all the time in when I lived in charleston. I miss it. hope you had fun.
