does anybody here know who robert ball is? he's the evil bastard buying up al of portland and turning every building into completely unaffordable, high end condos for the very rich and snooty. well, he just bought my building. and he's being very sneaky. he told the lady he bought the building from (who grew up and still lives here) and the new onsite manager guy he just hired that he would keep the place as rental apartments. well yesterday i spied a memo in the offce entitled "speculations for converting the ---apartments into condominiums." when i asked on-site manager guy he obviously had no idea--it wasn't meant for him--and even said "well there goes my job security." arghhh!!
so all signs point to me having to move out which blows because this place rocks and it's really cheap.
