Just woke up.
So very groggy.
My eyelids hurt. I've got an overwhelming amount of work to do on my final new media project, and After Effects is hating me.
My upstairs neighbors are listening to Def Leppard very loudly. Our apartment has very thin walls. Pour some sugar on me. woo.

It's actually my camcorder hooked up to my computer...it's a sony DV handycam DCR-TRV27. And the software I use is EvoCam.

I feel good today. Slept for a full 7 hours last night, which means I'm ready to get back to getting 1-2 hours of sleep a night for the next few nights, which is good because the final project in my new media class is due Wednesday AM, and I don't think I'll be getting much sleep until after then.

Also, my cat climbed on my back I started grooming himself while I was watching TV today, and all of the sudden it smelled like ass. I tossed him outside, but I couldn't escape the smell, it was in my shirt. What the hell.
That was kind of pathetic.

I've never been good at making friends. It's the first step that kills me. I'll probably never add another user to my friends list unless they add me first. Maybe I'll get over that after I've been on here for more than 2 weeks.

I have an immense amount of respect for illustrators. I can draw quite well, but I haven't had much success with illustration.
This post is here mostly for three reasons:
1) To avoid the impression that I don't respond to posts on my own journal,
2) To provide a convenient link to the rest of my response, which is here, and
3) To artificially increase the number of responses to my journal.

I'll be here, nonetheless. And I don't doubt you'll have interesting things to respond to in the future, since I think they're interesting now. You word things the way I do; it strikes a chord in me. And Bridge to Terabithia... yes, I wondered why no one else really referenced it aside from me, (although I think SG Ruby did, too) but now I know I'm not just a sentimental sap who places meaning on books no one else gives a shit about.
