The big news for the week is that the board game is taking leaps forward. I've been noting favorite artists for the past few years. A week ago I messaged my favorite one for Lyssan, the boardgame, and he's interested. I also filed for a new company in California - Thornhenge LLC - to do business through. Add on top of that more successful playtests and hours poured into cleaning up the playtest set, and it's a big week for Lyssan. More on this once contracts are signed, and the first art starts flowing in.

Also:

• Gave in and bought this little beauty of a pocket camera:
  It's a slick one; has a handful of features you don't normally find outside DSLRs, takes 1080p HD video, and the picture quality is stunningly good.
• Am hosting an extended houseguest while she looks for a place in town. Feels good to repay that karma after others have done so for me.
• Nailed another milestone on the contracted project. There's free time back in the schedule.
